Work Vessels for Vets offers “Flash of Grace” to Connecticut veteran’s new photography business.

CONNECTICUT 2026 – US Navy Seaman Wellison Millan of East Haven, Connecticut had three deployments and returned with a 100% VA disability rating for his injuries.  WVFV matched Seaman Millan with professional photographer Tom Bombria who volunteered his mentorship and advice that resulted in an $8000 equipment award of state-of-the-art camera and studio accessories.

“I wanted to take a moment to share a quick update and sincerely thank you again for the equipment support. It has already been put to immediate use, and the impact has projects that previously would have been out of reach. I have been actively connecting with both government-related opportunities and local small businesses, and that outreach has already resulted in collaborations as well as paid assignments. The quality I’m now able to deliver is opening doors much faster than before. I’m extremely grateful for the investment you made in my work. It’s making a tangible difference, and I’m committed to continuing to build on this momentum.

I thank you so much!”  Wellison, Flash of Grace Photography.
