WVFV Awards Van to Navy and Army Vet: “Foxhound Farm Handyman Services” Western MA

for his FoxHound Farm Handyman Services in western MA

JUNE  2026 – SGT Robert Curtin served four years in the US Navy supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2010 and Afghanistan in 2011.  After mustering out of the Navy, promptly joined the Army and was deployed to Iraq, serving 5 years as a Sergeant, but ending his military career with 90% disability rating by the VA.

Using the Veterans Business Outreach Center of New England, and other SBA programs, Robert developed a strong business plan to start a property maintenance and repair business in western Massachusetts.  He asked for help to purchase a reliable used work van with ladder racks.  Work Vessels for Vets was able to negotiate a great deal for just the van he needed and Foxhound Farm Handyman Services was on the road!
